Instructions for authors

Papers must be sent to the Editor. They should preferably be written in English and must be accepted by the Editorial Board. Material that does not conform will be returned to the author. Submission of a manuscript implies that it is not being considered for publication elsewhere. Two copies must be provided, in double-spaced typing on pages in uniform side, with a margin at the left. Generally the size of the manuscript should not exceed about 15 printed pages, including diagrams and tables. Each paper must be provided with an abstract of about 100 words, stating concisely the purpose and the content of the paper. Authors of papers in French, Dutch or German are required to submit an English abstract. The SI system should be used for all scientific and laboratory data; if, in certain instances, it is necessary to quote other figures, these should be added in parentheses. The use of proprietary names should be avoided.

Illustrations

The original and one copy of each illustration should be provided. Line drawings should be in a form suitable for reproduction and they should preferably all require the same degree of reduction. Photographs should be submitted as clear black and white prints on glossy paper. Each illustration must be clearly numbered and the title of the paper written on the reverse side.

Reprints

Reprints of each paper can be ordered at current printing prices.

Electronic submission of papers

Authors are encouraged to submit their manuscript by a-mail or on an informative support. The article must be saved as a Microsoft Word (preferred) or Rich Text Format (.rtf) document. Use Times New Roman as font type. Include figures and tables in the text.

References

References must be listed alphabetically according to the hazard System; at the end of the articles as follows: name and initial(s) of author(s), year of publication in parentheses, exact title of paper, full journal title, volume number in Arabic figures double underlined, initial and final page numbers of article. In the text, references are cited by author and year of publication.
